We have (for San Martin):
Provided 1,000 trees to reforest watershed (not started)
Built a new dam to provide water for the new 36,000 gallon water tank (still under construction--due to occassional help of a mason.
The community provided the pipe to get the water from their new dam to the new tank.
Built a new 36,000 water storage tank--two 18,000 gallon tanks to allow for maintenance.
We are applying for funds to build a 36,000 gallon slow-sand water filtration tank (also two 18,000 tanks--in the event there is not enough water or for maintenance) and another 36,000 gallon clean water tank (also two 18,000 tanks).
The old 10,000 gallon tank filled through a dam on another branch of the river will be piped into our new 36,000 gallon tank as well.
